Not even sure how I managed it but I tried doing online check in again on my laptop. It still said protection type invalid so I left that screen open then I'd already previously googled bypass the counter so I clicked on this in a different screen just hoping I could maybe find a way of checking in and it took me straight into my booking on the bypass screen! I just had to decline a couple of things and enter my credit card details with estimated cost $0 and that was it all checked in and bypass the counter done in one go! Hope this works for others.

I have just done what you did and it worked

God knows how!? I think there are a variety of different links on Google - some work some don't. I kept getting 'protection type invalid' every time I tried to do OLCI some fields were populated, some were not! Anyway opened up a 'skip the counter' tab and everything was populated.. Done... thank you

Glad it worked! Off to get my sister in law to have a look as I know it's not been working and didn't work when I tried for her the other day. You don't have the link you used do you?

Tried opening the actual link again but doesn't work now cos I've sorted mine out. I just did what you did. Completed savetime. I then opened up a google search of 'online check in alamo' I logged in using surname, first name and booking number. This is the page I kept getting message of 'protection type invalid', different fields were populated wrongly or not at all. I even tried doing 'savetime' a couple of times but the OLCI still would work. I then just opened a new tab and typed in 'skip the counter' went into that and all my details came up on it. Don't know how. Hope you manage to do it again, think it's all trial and error...
