First night dinner

We stay just down from you in Cumbrian Lakes. We stop on way in for essential supplies, coffee, milk, bread, etc at the small Publix which is nearer than the huge Walmart. We also grab then their precooked chicken, fries and coleslaw etc.

On arrival in the villa while others take bags up and unpack someone is allocated to put chicken and fries in the oven.

This works for us, as we try to stay up as late as possible first night, so we do get hungry.

However if it helps the huge Walmart has a Macdonalds at the back on the right. Plus there is a chicken place, eat in or take away as you leave the car park.

We land early evening and head straight to the villa to drop the cases off. Then we head out to Miller's or Carrabba's for a full on feast After we head to Target to pick up the essentials and to walk off a few of the 1000's of calories we've just consumed. By the time we get back to the villa we are then ready to call it a night.

It all helps us to stay awake on the first night better and get into US time from the start.

We always get Flippers pizza delivered. 6 weeks on Saturday we'll be beside the pool with the pizza and a glass of wine Can't wait!
