I would still go, its going to be tough time just now for all of you, especially if you feel the split has come out of nowhere, so it will give you all something to focus on and take your mind off of real life

It is still a while away at the moment, i wouldnt make any firm decisions until you need to pay the balance, things will be more clearer in a few months and you will be able to make a more informed decision then. I would also before making any decisions ask the children what they want to do.

I hope that things work out for the best for you whichever way that is. X

I would go but not for 17 days maybe 10 or 12, best of both worlds, mum won't miss them too much as well. All I can say is "Make lots of memories" with your kids, it stays with them forever. Happy planning.

I'd still take them too. We didn't actually think august was as busy as we'd been warned!

I’m sorry to hear of your situation. I’m in the definitely Go camp.

We are here now, and did August last year with 2 kids aged 14&12. My advice is have plenty of pool days in the villa, August is very very hot and my step kids actually preferred playing in the swimming pool than going to the parks.

Also, we’ve noticed and actually discussed this last night, that 3 pm seems to be the cut off point for kids in the parks. Every day at 3 we’ve noticed the crying and whinging gets loads worse. So I’d advise mornings in the parks and getting them out by 2h30.
