I'm going to try it later when I've got everyone's details but it is what it is if it doesn't work.

Managed to check in but I think skip the counter will take payment from my credit card so probably not worth the risk.

Well done! I would hold where you are now as well. STC is value added only. As long as you have the OLCI barcode you are good to go to the garage

No that's what I mean, there's no barcode as I didn't want to risk the skip the counter bit with card details as it said I was authorising them to take the outstanding payment. So I just didn't bother. Is what it is. Thanks though!

There was no barcode on my OLCI paperwork the other day , but it did let me do STC so I've got it on that!

I can do skip the counter, but it says I owe $90 so I don't want to put my card details in. We'll just shimmy on up to the counter on arrival me thinks.

Exactly the same as me...!
We go on June 25th and looking at same car for 3 weeks as well...been watching for a while at around the £550 mark and now £1100+

I mailed Alamo to ask if they would price match elsewhere but they wont... £1100 against the same car using Virgin car hire [with Alamo]...is £599

Going to go for the Int SUV with Virgin car hire for £599
