I think MK is the worst after the fireworks because of everyone heading down Main Street, Epcot isn't too bad because people are more spread out watching the fireworks in the first place...we watch it from UK and the walk back to the car is fine.

Am I right in thinking that at MK they still do a laser show after the fireworks, if so then I'd hold back for that and watch it...we then stop off at Starbucks for a drink and cookie whilst walking back to either the boat or monorail

Thank you for your tips. Fingers crossed we get to see them stress free (ish)
My youngest has eye sight problems, which makes his ears more sensitive so if he can’t see it or the noise is too much we will just cut our loses. Would be nice for him to see them though x

If you're not too worried about the castle projections you could go to the Contemporary and watch from the bridge between Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower. Music piped in and fireworks not too loud.

If you've never seen HEA before and you think you're "not bothered about the projections" then you're wrong.

The projections are incredible, and if you miss them then you might as well have missed the entire show.

IMO.

It is a suggestion for the OP who requested suggestions. Agree the projections are great but if the OP is concerned about crowds and loud fireworks the bridge is an option as our other suggestions.

It's a legitimate suggestion. Just providing the other side of it - if they haven't seen it before then they might rule out the projections as a minor part of the show, but really it's the main part of the show.

It's the one downside - there are far fewer good places to watch HEA from compared to Wishes.

We staked out a spot on the kerb of the road before the front of the castle when we stayed for the fireworks in 2016. The parade was on first and I knew they would move anyone in the road before that so we were guaranteed front row for the parade then just stood up and turned round to see the fireworks and projections. And then just waited for the crowds to die down before leaving. Main Street station is a great spot but gets taken up stupidly early. It’s worth getting a good spot and waiting though
