Coke, it tastes foul 🤮. The recipe is supposed to be the same throughout the world, however, the Americans see fit to use corn syrup instead of sugar

I love mac and cheese, cheese grits, biscuits (no gravy!), donuts (so light compared to stodgy English ones!), Lucky Charms marshmallows by the gallon!
I had a horrible experience on the way home when the Sour Patch Kids I spent a whole $5 on at the airport literally made my tongue bleed! I can happily eat an entire bag to myself in the UK but they must have some strange ingredient in overseas!

I was born in Canada so this thread is like my childhood!

LOVE
Toaster Strudel - literally strudel you put in the toaster. SO good and way better than Pop Tarts.
Meatloaf - glazed with ketchup, yummy!
NutterButter
Root Beer
Doughnuts - classic glazed are the best but any will do
Key lime pie
Tots
Chicken wings
Bacon and maple syrup
Bugles - although I saw them in Tesco the other day
Snapple
Hotdogs/Corndogs
Hotdog relish!
PB&J
Sloppy Joes

Hate
Grits - my grandma made it and I’ve always hated it
Creamed corn/spinach
Jerky
Jell-o “salads” - this is an actual thing and it’s disgusting
Cheez Whiz - literally spreadable plastic American cheese that comes in a jar. I loved it as a kid but no way I would eat it now.

Love Churros, chicken & gnocchi soup from OG, grape sweeties! Here, purple ones are in the middle favourite flavour, over there, they're at the top. All the different flavoured iced teas, almond M&Ms. I can't go things like grits, pancakes, biscuits & gravy.

How is jello salad a thing?! Is it salad with jello on or just jello chopped up like a salad?

Surprised at some of the dislike of churros- churros are amazing! Although I've only ever had them in the UK and Spain- I guess its likely the US over fries them and makes them greasy?
