Star Wars Galaxies Edge opening "late" Fall 2019.

Kind of what was already known but been confirmed that Galaxies Edge in Disneyland is opening in the summer and at Disney World it is "late" Fall that it's opening. Not exactly sure what that date means that at least people hoping for a late summer opening now know that it won't be open.

Edit: Looking it up, Fall finishes 21st December.

Is it bad if I say I’m hoping it doesn’t actually open until end of Nov/Dec after our trip? 🤭 lol.

DS love Star Wars but he’s the only one in our group. Haters be damned but I find it the biggest load of crap ever 🙈 If it opens during our Oct/Nov trip DS is gunna make us go & the crowds will be insane & DS himself & my bro both struggle with crowds so it’ll be a day filled of moaning, crying (no doubt from me lol), tantrums & yet still demands that we don’t just turn around & head to a diff park but go on every ride & in every shop instead. Hell on Earth if you ask me 😒

That’s disappointing. We probably won’t go back until 2021 after our September trip next year and I was really hoping we’d catch the opening. Now we’ll need to find money for a 2020 trip!

I love Star Wars and I really want to see this but I am glad it is not opening next Summer when we go it will be manic.

I'm totally the same- hate Star Wars and booked May next year partly because I was sure it wouldn't be open then! Although I could probably persuade hubby to just bypass it

This is the latest date it would open.. hopefully it will be open by September as that is when we are going next year other wise we will have to go back again in Jan/Feb 2020...

I was thinking soft opening would be nice . That way it shouldn’t be as crowded! I think I’m going to assume it’s not going to be ready and then anything is a bonus.
