Universal Early Entry

Hi all

We’re staying at the Hard Rock hotel for a week again this August and have the 3 park ticket.

We’ve taken advantage of the early entry to IOA and UNI before, but my question is, as an on-site guest, do we get early entry to Volcano Bay?

If we do get early entry, what time can we get in and can someone who has done it confirm if it was warm enough at that time.

Thanks
Rob

I'm not 100% but I'm sure I read somewhere that there is only one park that has early entry each month. I didn't really look into it and it might be something different (to early entry when staying in the park). Might be just general early opening of the park, not sure.

But... anytime in August it will be warm enough! Florida doesn't do cold in August... at any time of day!

The website info on early entry doesn't go beyond June at the moment, but when we went in august, one park and vb were open early when we stayed.

We hit the slides straight off, so cant talk about the pool temp, but going to vb with early entry is definitely worth it, to get a bit done without virtual queuing. We went on the aqua coaster twice in a row with no q.

We went in at 7.30 and left about 10, because we were checking out of the hotel, and did all the rides we wanted to bar 1 (just because we had swiped the wrong machine for virtual q - they put more than 1 machine together, and it can be hard to work out what is what).

you get early entry to VB as an onsite guest

you will need to take the shuttle to VB, and plan to be at the gate to VB 20 to 30 minutes before EE

EE starts 1hr prior to posted opening time.

your room key will be checked inside the park, between the entrance (where you get tapu tapu) and the beach

Don't worry about the weather. It will probably be over 25°C at 7 or 8am in the morning in august, or so it was last august

we also did early entry 2 weeks ago at VB and it was more than warm enough for a water park.

We did early entry at VB last August and you get in 1 hour before opening, we got to the entrance about 30 minutes before early entry. You catch the shuttle bus from HRH to VB they go every 20 minutes or so and you catch it from the car park to the right of the main doors when you come out of reception.

It was lovely and warm at that time of morning and you can get loads done in that extra hour. We visited a couple of times and stayed till about 12 both times and left as it got very busy then, plus we had got everything done.
