There is no planned refurb of EE due any time soon. The work to fix the Yeti properly is quite involved as it is the structure to which it is fixed that is causing most of the problems, appaerently it cannot take all the forces of a fully working yeti at the moment. The yeti support is built inside the mountain and it would involve some dismantling of the actual mountain to get to all of the structure to fix it completely.

Sound good to me.
An inverted coaster is one where the seats hang below the track. So probably not for kids, so thats a shame. I can't wait though! |

I never understood why they built that naff dark ride at DCA for Monsters Inc. Surely, the door sequence was a godsend for a coaster ride so if this happens at DHS I'm all for it.
As for the Yeti - well, he had to be fixed sometime. I believe the plinth of concrete he stood on actually cracked because of the rapid movement it made and this could have affected the integrity of the ride's structure so it was put into Show B mode - just flashing lights. When it worked it was great to see as that arm took a swipe at your head. I hope it gets fixed fairly soon so people can enjoy it as it should be. |

It' s about time they fixed the Yeti problem, I don't think its been working properly for ages. Saw the rumours also about the new coaster, so hope it's true ! Will look forward to your updates

I was on the KTTK tour last week and the giude mentioned the monsters inc roller coaster
' we are thinking of a monsters inc coaster but it is 6 years down the line ' personally if this is true we will have moved on to other films unless they make a sequel . |

Well, a sequel for Monsters Inc. is in the pipeline, but I wouldn't say it mattered if it's deemed an 'old' franchise by the time a coaster comes about. Indiana Jones is an aged franchise and the last film was a dud, but that's a crowd pleaser. Aerosmith are a reaaaally old 'franchise' in the rock sense, and that ride is a roaring success. Twilight Zone is so old that I doubt many rider these days have ever seen the old black and white episodes, and how successful is that at HS?!

Great news about the possibility of a new ride at DHS. Hope they don't close Expedition Everest before we go in September - it's one of my favourites!
