Deb
Yes! Deb is the winner, not only did she not clean any segment of the car she also had it returned, in pieces, on the back of a breakdown truck... kudos, Deb, kudos!

No Chris is the winner for putting Soap in the windscreen washer and ending up with the whole car covered in bubbles!
But at least her hands were as soft as her skin with mild green Fairy liquid!

Oh great... now I'm humming that blasted tune... for hands that do dishes, groan!

It's hubs more than me Mr T, he always points out the dirty screen, and once he's done that it drives me mad until it's cleaned, but I draw the line at taking mild green stuff with me, it waits until we get to our destination.

Back in the 90's when the children used to leave a Restaurant with their colouring sheets and crayola crayons I hate to think how many door pockets and consoles had melted wax crayons in them when we returned the car

Doesn't affect us now as I dont do any more colouring

You surprise me Mr T - thought you had a bit longer to go before moving onto biro, paint and brushes...

In 2004 mam and dad came to SW Fla with us - my parents very rarely swear and nothing too bad... I left McDonalds with a lidded cup of pop and we all piled into the people carrier... I drove over a sleeping policeman and there was this splattering thud as the pop launched out of a holder onto the floor next to ma... we heard mother utter 's***' as it bled into the carpets, but man, hearing mother swear like that defused the situation as 6 of us laughed our backs off. I did take a bucket of hot water and detergent and scrub the carpets and wipe down splashes tho!

Done that in the UK and they even had the cheek to charge me because the fuel tank wasn't full when they eventually got it back...

Now we have a motor in Fla it has to be washed and hoovered properly, hubby doesn't like my suggestion of leaving it out in the rain... spoil sport that he is!

As a matter of interest - how many others have to clean the blasted windscreen and put a few drops of washing up liquid and water in the washer bottle?
As I tend to video whilst we are travelling along I clean my side (passenger) of the windscreen thoroughly every morning.

Before return a hire car we just shake the mats and remove all rubbish. If you have made a real mess they will clean out an interior but they will bill you for it. It's in the contract.
