How old is your Miele washing machine?
As posted in another thread, ours is 11.5 years and we may need a new one. Our DD’s was just short of 10 years and she had to replace it. I am so disappointed as I was expecting it to last up to 20 years. I think it is because they have stopped doing drum repairs.

Ours is 16 years old this year. We had it repaired November 2018.

mine is 14 years and have had to change the heating element this year .
My sister had 25 years out of hers, bought in 1990. Don't think mine will last that long, sadly.

I've only had mine around a year so this thread isn't filling me with hope!

Ours is about 14 years and has been practically rebuilt twice, drum, heating, pump... it does get hammered and has lasted way longer than anything else we have had!

Our Miele washer and dryer are 12 years old. We bought them when we moved into our house. They are still going strong. I remember thinking at the time that they were expensive but have been worth every penny. I really hope I don’t need to replace them anytime soon.
My mum also has them and she’s only on her second set after 35 years! 😂 Kat

Ours developed a fault ata 16 years old but we wanted a larger machine so did not get it repaired but it was the first problem we had with it and it certainly took a hammering over its life with all the boys dirty sports clothes.
