If you want to have a non-fussy, good value buffet, then Plaza Gardens in the Disneyland park or Hunter's Grill in Sequoia Lodge.
Plaza is E34.99 and Hunter's E36.99 for adults
Children are E17.99 and E24.99 respectively (age 3-9).

The Plaza Gardens seems to get good reveiws compared to a lot I have read, do you know if it opens for dinner as well as lunch. How do I go about booking?

We had the free dining plan so our choices were influenced by that.

The lucky nugget was a brilliant find for us this trip. We all had burgers which were really nice and it was great to sit down and have your food brought to you for a only a few euros more than regular counter service meal. My kids also loved the puppet show and atmosphere in here. If you avoid peak lunch and dinner time too it never seems to be that busy.

I really enjoyed plaza gardens for dinner but unfortunately my vegetarian DH and fussy DD were not impressed so we ended up cancelling our second reservation there. The selection of food was much more limited that I was expecting too. But its location is brilliant and the food suits your party it would be preference for dinner. Breakfast here was lovely too, everyone enjoyed that and I wish we had booked that more than once.

Annette's diner was lovely food and reasonably priced but the service is horrendously slow and because of that I don't think I would go back again. 2 hours for one meal is very frustrating when all you want to do is get back into the parks. You can't make reservations here and the queues after the fireworks were awful so try and avoid then.

On previous trips we've grabbed earl of sandwich for dinner on the way back to the hotel just for convenience and the sandwiches here are lovely. The queue always moves fast too so don't let that put you off.

It does open for dinner but not very late. We had reservations for 5pm last month. I booked online beforehand using the Dutch site via a link someone had posted on here.

I would honestly book something, even as a back up. It's easy to cancel your plaza gardens reservation for example as they'll email you that morning as a reminder and the email has a link in it to cancel.

Agree with this whole heartedly. It costs nothing to reserve and no card is needed to book (unlike WDW), so it just ensures you have somewhere to eat. Even the hotel restaurants get busy, especially after parade and fireworks time, and you can wait up to 60mins easily to get a table.
If you want to book online, you can go to the UK DLP website and there will be a little pop-up for the Dream Team - every member of the team can give you the online links to book. Or you can call the booking number on the sticky at the top of the forum.

Two hours is pretty standard for any restaurant in France. You’re there for the evening, to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal.

For us it is a huge part of the holiday. We’ve been up since 6 and in the park since 8.30 so we like to spend our evenings relaxing over a meal.

I took your advice and have booked the Plaza Gardens 😊 . Luckily saw a link on another post for reservations and got the time we wanted.
