Another question: will i fit an airbed in POFQ garden view room

DS12 is (understandably) refusing to share a queen bed with younger sister at POFQ.
Will a single airbed fit in the room? Thinking of taking an airbed to save the arguments.
Failing that, I may get a sheet sleeping bag for one of them. Or call to see if we can change to a 5th sleeper at POR (though DD is not the tiniest!)

Yes you’d be able to fit a single air bed in. It would fit best next to the bed as you enter the room.

You wouldn’t have loads of floor space left but suitcases fit under the beds now so that would help.

Yes you would. There’s a fair bit of room. To be honest we just share with the kids, me and dd 14 share a bed and ds 12 shares with his dad. It’s no biggie and gets me out of sharing a bed with my husband who fidgets more than the kids 😂

We used to roll up a blanket and put it down the middle of the bed to stop the " mum, tell him , hes on my side " scenario . Then we'd wake up and they would be cuddled up together 😂 kids !

I suggested this option but DS12 looked like he was going to be sick at the suggestion of sharing with his Dad, muttered something about smelly trumps! 😆

we had a room for 5 at CBR last year it was only one night but my daughter says it was very comfortable and she would happily have slept on it longer . She is 21 and 5’4”

Thought this might help if you decide to change rooms.

We are going to be one same boat at CSR in May, 13 year old DS who's already 5'9 and 9 year old DD.
We enquired about rollaway bed and told we could get one but not guaranteed and a charge per night. Will probably either get an airbed delivered or take one with us.

We always take an air bed with us for DD. We stayed at POFQ in 2018 in a garden view room and there was plenty of room for the air bed DD was 11 at the time. Housekeeping will give you spare bedding.

Not sure what type of air bed you're considering, but we've take the inflatable divan type on holiday before. They're a bit heavier, but so much more comfy and have a built in plug for electric inflation and deflation, so they're easy enough to deflate each day if you want more daytime space. Not used them in America though...

You can buy an airbed in Walmarts for $10 or one with a built in pump for $20. For these prices I wouldnt bother bringing one with me. Also sleeping bags start at less than $10.
