DLC Hotel - Red Lion / Clarion

Hi All

I’ve spent the last couple of weeks going snowblind looking at DLC hotels.

Last time I went, we stayed at La Quinta, which was perfect in every way, however as I’m alone this time it’s beyond my budget

I’ve got my heart set on another one, but the price isn’t dropping so I’m looking at backup plans.

The Red Lion and the Clarion both keep coming up with decent prices.

Has anyone stayed at these?

I can get motels cheaper, but again as I’m travelling alone I want a hotel where I need to walk past security / reception to enter my room. I don’t want a room door that opens onto the street. I also liked the area last time (Katella Avenue next to Garden Walk), so don’t want to be any further out.

If not for these 2, can anyone offer any recommendations / suggestions at all?
