Westgate Las Vegas
Hi All
I’m just wondering if anyone has stayed at, or visited the above? I know it’s not on strip, I’m just after some information / reviews on the actual hotel. Thanks in Advance Gill

Visited, just to pick up a casino chip!
It is really in a bad location (sounds like you already know that) for most of the Strip. It felt tired to me, like it needed investment and there’d been none for a long time. It isn’t somewhere I’d want to stay, albeit I know it’s very cheap unless there is a convention on.

Thanks Karen, I appreciate the honesty.
I’m trying to find out when it last had a renovation, as the pictures I keep finding are a mix of old, run down liking, and super new, so I’m wondering if it may have been done up recently? I completely appreciate it’s not the best location, however the deal I can get through work will save me a fortune. I’ve prices up a 5 night stay, and it’s £156 a room versus a minimum of £600. I’m debating whether (if it’s clean and safe) I might as well take it?

I don’t know if the rooms have been refurbed, but the outside and communal areas hadn’t.
We paid just over £200 (plus resort fee, not sure if there’s one ar the Westgate or not) for six nights at Tuscany Suites when everywhere else - except Westgate (! ) was a lot more. Our original budget had to be slashed when our boiler needed replacing, which sucked up a lot of our holiday money. When is your trip and is it over a Fri/Sat night?

I had a google earlier, and it said there had been 100 million spent on renovating the rooms through 2015/2016 - didn’t mention the communal areas though!
The plan for the trip has changed, so we will be there for longer and therefore over a weekend (with bizarrely the most expensive Sunday in a months period!), however I’ve now discovered I can get 4 nights comp at Luxor, including the weekend. I’m just trying to find out if I can get 2 queens instead of the king bed, and if so I think we’ll go for that as it’ll give us a better budget for the remaining nights. I’m hoping for a bargain at Cosmopolitan - I really want to sit on those balconies ha ha x
