You can go in and just have a small meal but the waits are really long unless you have a Landry card. We have eaten at both, quite a lot and to be honest I can’t stand T-Rex I don’t know why I keep going. I’ve never had a good meal there or good service. Rainforest is heads and shoulders better in my opinion. Especially the one at AK. The atmosphere is good but we found overwhelming for small kids, it’s very loud and in parts, dark and it takes a long time to get food. We got home today (boo) and ate at both this trip, both took two hours from going in to leaving, a bit long for my youngest.

We have actually never had a bad meal at T-Rex, my children like going there.
You could maybe order the volcano dessert, chocolate cake and icecream, to share and some drinks or the appetizer sampler. Please get the Landrys card, it is a godsend, you wait 5/10 minutes for a table rather than an hour. Edited at 06:48 PM. |
