Booking fast passes but prob not go
On my plan there are some days when I don't plan to go to any of the 4 theme parks (water park and chill days). I have still booked random fast passes though incase we change our minds. Does this mean anything in terms of missing them or cause any hassle to tickets if you get what I mean?

It won't cause any problems, and it's definitely a good idea to do it. However do cancel them the night before or on the day if you know you aren't going to use them so that they don't get wasted and someone else can pick them up.

I do this each time we go as at 60 days ahead I really don’t know what park we will be in, just cancel them rather than let them expire if you change your plans.

Yeah def book them up for everyday, but like others have said, cancel them at whatever point you know you are not going, which might be the night before or even that morning.

To me This is the problem with the 60 day/30 day windows people on 60 days book fp's with little intension of using them leaving nothing or very few for the 30 people also booking multiple passes for the top rides leaving none for others I know it's not the 60 dayers fault it's Disneys system, for me the old one when you got them in the park was easier and much fairer

Do you think? We went to DLP at Easter and can honestly say we only used around 30% of our paper fast passes because the others ended up not being convenient as we were eating / in a different part of park / had gone back to hotel. I wish I could have cancelled them for people to use!

Have we got evidence that a FP for a 10.00am FOP for example that is cancelled at say 09.45am becomes available for somebody else to have?
I would like to think it does pop up but I have never seen anything online confirming this. As we know WDW releases FP's on a random basis during the day anyhow.

Yes I know, we probably should have done but usually we only had one (I was/am pregnant so couldn’t ride lots) and after one totally excruciating incident with a French person who thought we were trying to sell them something i’m afraid we got all British about it and failed!

This made me laugh so much!
I am a ride wimp so usually we only have FPs for DH. If he doesn’t want it, I wander round trying to find a single person to give it to. People whose first language is not English can make for a tricky conversation (although I have managed it). Last time I spotted someone in a Miami Dolphins jacket and took the chance he was American - which he was, and very happy to have an unexpected Fastpass!
