Message from virgin
Hi all we fly out to Orlando tomorrow and I've just had message from virgin saying building work at Orlando airport my cause delays to my journey.i know there has been a lot of work going on over the last few years just wondering if this message is a standard one that's been going out or is it particularly bad at the moment

We had this noted on our booking documents, however I had assumed this was because we booked so early as this was when the works were going on. I thought they had now been completed however may well be wrong - I do hope not!

It’s a standard message, we had it at Easter and it wasn’t especially bad. Have a great trip!

Major ongoing construction works continuing building terminal C but that's a mile away and no impact on A and B.
Certainly no negative impact on our arrival last month. You'll notice that the automated passport kiosks have gone and the route from the baggage carousel to the monorail a little longer but still easy. Time through immigration is still the usual piece of string question though. Mick

We had that message 2 years ago. Seems to be something standard Virgin send out.

When we flew in at the end of April there was no sign at all of building works from the gates through to the main terminal.
As Mick says no automated terminals (hooray! ) and a slightly changed walkway to get to the monorail.

Arrived last Friday on first virgin plane of the day from Gatwick just over an hour to get through immigration. A plane from Mexico city before us seemed to mean a few staff leaving with their arrivals. At one point only 4 desks open, but soon back to 6 and things moved ok

Yes we got an email from VH too when we were due to fly.
But all we bought from VA was Car Hire that was supplied thro VH. It was nice to know that there may of been building works at MCO, even tho we were flying into Sanford with TUI and that was where we got our Alamo car from. Standard email I assume. |
