Vans Backpack

Hi,
Has anyone used one of these as hand luggage/park bag, if so what’s your thoughts? Is it the right size etc.

Thinking it’ll be good to cart stuff round the parks (drinks, sun cream etc) but also use on way out for the odds and ends you need on the plane.

I've always used a similar sized backpack as carry on and then for day-to-day bits at the park. I much prefer the days I manage to get away with no backpack because of security, but they're perfectly sized - we usually take one between us with drinks/creams/phones/wallets etc. Just bear in mind security - get all zippers open for the check etc.

I have this one. It's a good size, but bear in mind that it is just one single internal pocket, (plus the front zip pocket) there are no dividers at all. I have bought a backpack insert to provide dividers as I cannot stand rummaging around amongst everything to find what I need - I much prefer having several separate pockets, especially for a carry on bag.

TBH I’m not too bothered about dividers. All our docs/passports are in a folder so they’re together. Then it’s just Ipads, headphones etc for the plane.
Security in the parks isn’t too much of an issue, DW has a bag so we have to go thru anyway.

I bought a Vans backpack when we first went in 2015 and I still use it now it's been fantastic. It also has a section on the side for a water bottle which was useful!

Thanks for the link!

I took my North Face backpack this year and wish I didn't due to it's size, it was quite a squeeze into lockers etc, I think I will invest into one of these
