Immigration queues MCO

Hi we are flying into MCO terminal C
My son has autism and wears a sunflower lanyard.

I’m just worried incase there is a large queue at immigration- he could probably cope with about 10 mins but then would meltdown.

Do MCO offer any sort of assistance at immigration and how do we arrange it?

Thanks very much.

Your biggest issue will be the wait for luggage before immigration to be honest
Don’t rush off the plane and take your time on the walk to the baggage hall
The immigration ques move fairly quick as the baggage is slow to come off we find

Thanks I was hoping to be able to walk around with him whilst the others in a party wait for the cases - it’s the standing still he will have a problem with.

Good to know immigration moves fairly quickly.

Thanks for your reply. Last time we went from Dublin so immigration done pre boarding and it was really quick. Coming home we were ushered to the front of the security queue when his lanyard was spotted. Shame they don’t do it on landing at immigration - good to hear it was pretty quick though 😊.

You could try this. Although no help to you this journey our recent experience through tampa airport was great, very quick and they were very keen to help.

Luckily for us, terminal C was pretty quick with immigration. Because we had a long walk to the luggage collection then it was all systems go with getting the luggage we didn't face any usual issues.
I hope it goes well x

We have been into Terminal C twice in the last year - and both times my daughter has been wearing her lanyard and we were directed to a separate queue both times and waited no more than 5 mins
