Wow I’m overwhelmed by all of your lovley comments, thank you so much.
It was a lovley wedding, our son is an only child, his wife is such an amazing girl, and we just feel so lucky that they met and decided they wanted to spend their lives together.

And of course, our beautiful grandaughter is just the centre of everyone’s world.

Back to reality now though!

Thank you. I was very happy with the dress, only problem was the front was slightly too low for my liking, hence the ‘cover up!’

I borrowed some ‘special tape’ off my daughter in law to make sure it didn’t move, but it was quite revealing for a woman my age!

As the wine started flowing I became less self conscious and took the pashmina off but won’t be posting those photos!

As part of the ceremony, they both said a few words about how the other one made them feel, DDIL said he made her feel ‘ safe in his love’
