I have had Ugg boots for years, 2012 to be exact. They are only now getting a bit done, Bought them for £120 out of Chester Oak Malls Aug 2012. My other pair are at least 4/5 years old, and I was the dibber who posted about the bargain slippers last year £100 roughly down to £30 odd. Love my ugg slippers, even in the summer xx

This will be the third pair she’s had and the most expensive pair, I’m not a lover of them myself but they are back in apparently!

Oh they are definitely ‘back in’ 🙈
I thought I had changed my daughters mind from UGG to Doc Martins but now she wants both 😱 (I am not buying her both) she wants some mini ugg boots that are constantly out of stock and the doc martens with a massive (ugly) sole 🤦🤦
I think UGG’s boots look like giant slipper boots and make people’s feet look huge and they look a mess when they get water marks on them. But she keeps sending me pictures of them say ‘how cute are these! ’ 🙈🙈
Nope, not cute, just ugly 🤣🤣
I am obviously far too old and far too unfashionable 🤣🤣🤣

There’s an article in the paper the other day- apparently when tracking prices, the vast majority of items in so called Black Friday sales are more expensive than they could have been bought other times in the year.
Flights are no different, I picked return BA flights to LA, back from San Fran, in and out in August school holidays, for £650 a piece a few months ago. I bet they are nearly double in this Black Friday sale.

She was getting the mini Uggs but it’s my fault saying they had no support and her picking the more expensive pair with support. 🤣 I feel sorry for her as she has applied for over 150 jobs and not one interview, she said she’d buy them herself if she was working. So hopefully next Christmas I can actually cut down a bit.

My daughter has white DMs that she got 5 years ago and never broke them in, they are too painful to wear.

DD has some black docs that she wears in clinic as they are quite hardwearing and safe when she is handling needles etc. It took her ages to break them in and they really blistered her feet in the process. They are quite heavy too so I should imaging the bigger sole would be heavier still.
I always fancied some but trying on DD's really put me off. I like comfort in my old age.

I like them, but for that price you need comfort!

DMs are great, I got my youngest a pair for Christmas last year. I know a physio who says they are about the best shoes/boots you can wear.

Ugg keep sending me a link for 10% off their products but you need to spend £130 and I only want a pair of slipper for £90. I can't send the link to anyone you just have to sign up for their emails.
