We used to split the day into 7.30 -2.30 then 2-9 so hopefully you get at least some of the day to spend with your little one.

Feel so sorry for those who have to work Christmas.
I finish on the 21st and on the 22nd I’m driving down to London to pick my eldest up as he is coming home for Christmas. 🥰 He has requested we go shopping on the 23rd 🥴. After that, just relaxing and hopefully building Lego that Santa brings if I’ve been good until I return to work in January.

I have 10 days off, back at work 4 days, then off 22 days for our florida trip. Toying with the idea of booking those 4 days off too so I'll be off for 5 weeks!

Finish on the Friday. Boxing Day I’m off to Orlando, then on an RCI cruise to Mexico, back to Orlando for a night then home.

I finish at 3pm on 20th and not back until 2nd (for 2 days)
Spending Xmas day with the boys and boxing day will be films and leftovers but I don't really have any plans for the rest of the days yet, I'm still trying to think of things to do so if anyone has any suggestions they would be very welcome!

My DH is working Xmas night and boxing night on night shift so we're breaking with tradition this year and having our Xmas dinner on Christmas eve, apparently in many countries thats the tradition so we are embracing it! . The 25th will be cold cuts and movies and 26th will be taking DS to football.

I am working until 22nd and then off until 3rd although I am on call on 23/12 and Christmas Day. I dont mind that so much as there are not usually a lot of call outs at that time.

Will just be me and my husband on Christmas Day. We used to have Mum come over for dinner but she passed in April and DH Mum goes to his Aunts on that day as they are both widows. Be strange not to see Mum this year, she always used to do me a stocking even though I am now 47. She would put an apple and orange at the bottom and lots of silly stuff. I will miss that for sure.

Only Xmas day & boxing day & that's only because they are volunteery (I work in a big supermarket) but they are REALLY pressuring & lying to staff that you can be made to work boxing day.

DW is a senior carer so they have to work, but they share it out so do a half day instead of 7:30am-8:30pm. She's working Xmas day evening & all boxing day.

I asked to have Xmas eve off so that that could be our Xmas day. Department manager did it (I've done so much for them & been stand in manager for the last 3 months) but store manager has changed it to a 10pm finish! Going to have a big argument with department manager about it all this week as currently I've only got the 18th, 28th Dec & 7th Jan off with DW. The other 2 women on the department basically get it easy. I do all the hard work, middle & late shifts, they get easier & admin work & all the early finishes as well as they both have Xmas eve off & getting 3 & 4 days off in a row.

You've probably guessed I'm a bit annoyed by it all! LOL

I have guests all through Christmas and The New Year in the B&B to be honest I don't mind I am not a big fan of Christmas so it will break the days up.
