Ideas

Hi All

I have bought my grandson vouchers for bounce below in Wales but I don't want to just wrap an A4 paper voucher up so can anyone suggest a small something to go with it?

Also same situation for my daughter-in-laws Sister Act tickets?

Thank you in advance

I make my own cards so when I give a gift voucher I make a gift card relevant to the gift. If you’re not into crafting, then I’d give a small gift related to the gift so maybe a small Welsh dragon teddy to go with the bounce below experience as it’s in Wales and maybe a CD of the soundtrack of Sister Act or some chocolates to eat at the theatre (ones without rustling wrappers 😂 )

I have bought 10 driving lessons for my son, my husband has printed it off and I have rolled it up and tied it with a ribbon. This has gone into a gift box and I have filled the box with Cadbury’s hero’s there for hiding the scroll, he will have to do a lucky dip to find it 🤣🤣

I’ve ordered mock tickets from Etsy for theatre tickets I’ve bought my daughter for Christmas, only around £7 depending on options picked. Thought they’d look better for a gift than a printed order confirmation which is all you seem to get these days.

I’ve done this for Taylor Swift Tickets. The mock ticket arrived today and it looks fab. My son is giving it to his girlfriend for her birthday next week. I also like the idea of putting into a box filled with chocs.

I’ve got my grandson vouchers for a vr experience - the place is called sandbox so I’ve got him one of those picture frames with water and sand in you turn over to make different patterns to put the voucher in the box so he has a present to open. Sister act is buy something like those wind up racing nun toys 🤭 but that would be one of those things you used to see all the time but when you want it there’s none to be seen! I like the lucky dip idea and have officially stolen that for next year👍🏻 As for bounce - that would be one of those old fashioned bat and balls where they are attached with elastic (can you still get those or is it a health and safety ban?!) or one of those little really bouncy rubber balls in a big box so he could feel there was something in there - or depending on his age some bounce for the tumble dryer! My 12 yr old dgs would find that funny. I love buying experiences for people and wrapping them - it adds to the surprise ….Merry Christmas all! 🎄

For theatre / hotel gifts etc I usually put the voucher or printed ticket / itinerary in a nice small box and add sweets just to make it something to open.
For my SiL afternoon tea voucher I wrapped it with an Afternoon Tea recipe book from the Works.

You could print off info about the venue and roll into a scroll and tie with ribbon
This is how my gift of afternoon tea at the Shard was given to me one year
Or a bit more jokey - a plastic bat ( isn't it in a cave) or a hat with a led light .
We have bought driving lessons for our son for Christmas and have bought a pack from Amazon of theory test examples and road sign revision cards to wrap
