Costco Membership

Hoping you helpful people might know the answer - if my partner takes out Costco membership then gets me a card, would we be able to take both my adult children in with us? Or do I already count as one of the 2 people allowed to accompany? My children are both at the same uni so thinking a visit to a Costco near them might be useful but not sure if 4 of us would be admitted?
Thank you 😊

You will be fine, although I don’t normally takes loads of people in I seen others doing it and never been stopped. The first additional cardholder is free so you can take two people in on your own anyway.

each card admits yourself and 2 people. if you have a card you can go with your 2 children.

if you and your partner went, each having a card, you could take 4 additional people with you.

You can also pay for an additional card for another family member so you could add one of your children too if they have a Costco near their uni. I added dd so she can go on her own as it’s a lot cheaper than taking her with me.

Brilliant! That’s what I was hoping but, yes, it may not be the best financial idea taking them with me 🤣

Our local Costco has enforced the numbers of guests allowed on several occasions at really busy times of the year.

Yes they will probably start to enforce it more in the run up to Xmas.
Personally I would get the executive membership. With the cashback it pretty much pays for the card. But it also means you can get in at 10am rather than 11am on weekdays.
Don’t attempt to go on Friday lunchtime or weekends.
