Again another snore fest. Sooooo slow. This could have been 1 and done series. Not enough had happened to justify 2 seasons. Maybe the gratuitous scene is just to misdirect people from the fact that nothing is happening for large chunks of this

I enjoyed this season BUT pretty sure I’m not going to be alone feeling underwhelmed. It just felt like the whole season was a “filler” season building up for the big season 3.

That was so disappointing. No action whatsoever! So many unanswered questions that we need to wait another 2 years to find the answers too! My daughters read the book and she was so disappointed. Although the scene between Aemond & Helaena was the saving grace, she was brilliant!

They need to wind it up into s3. S2 was utterly pointless imo. So so slow.

Agree, such a slow series, nothing really happened in all the episodes, I was waiting for some amazing battle to happen. DS had read the book and was disappointed in the ending to this series.

Apparently the big battle was supposed to be in episode 9 or 10 but then HBO cut the budget to only 8 episodes so they have carried it over to the next season.

I think the better idea would have been to trim some of the talking and slower bits and still had the big battle at the end. For instance - did it really need so many episodes of Daemon walking around that castle talking to himself - soo tedious.

Started to watch the lot last night. Nearly finished Episode 2, we think it's very good so far.
