Sounds like a nice and stress free travel day and easy to get the public transport to your hotel. Your tea looked nice and a good choice to settle somewhere local on your first evening.
It really was a perfect travel day, everything seemed to go so well, which isn’t often the case 😀. We’re not huge seafood lovers, and of course Portugal does a lot of fish dishes, but we ate well throughout the trip with a mix of some Portuguese food and other dishes that we really enjoyed

Bristol has drop off zones closer to the terminal but they are expensive. The silver zone one does mean you have to take the courtesy bus to the terminal but it really doesn’t take long and it’s a great saving on the drop off charge

Great travel day!
We went this time last year and loved it. Would definitely go back. Even if it's just to go to the Time out market. It was amazing!

We found it a lovely time to be there, temperature was around 28-35° and gorgeous sunshine every day. It did get a little hot sometimes but we coped well with the heat. Time Out Market does feature in our trip too 😀

Enjoying your report DD. Lisbon is on my list so I'm making a few notes. Your lasagne and Georgia's tiramisu looked very tasty 😋

Thank you for reading, I hope it will be useful for your trip. It really was a very good Italian meal and we do get to eat some Portuguese food throughout the trip too 😄
