I am still very puzzled as to what you mean. The five minutes starts as soon as you start a booking. I just got back yesterday from a two week trip in which I purchased multipass nearly every day, so I have lived this, but I still cannot fathom what on earth you mean.

Just pick your three rides for each day you want to book and book them. Tweak the “ suggested” times as necessary. I think you are over thinking and making this to be far more complicated than it really is tobe honest.

The 5 minutes to to purchase the pass (I think) so it is holding your ride times.
Once purchased you can then modify them at your leisure.

Mixed success for us so far, one fail, one fluke and one winner.

First day we used it was at Hollywood Studios, we had the Toy Story Trifecta booked as worked on the assumption that Slinky would go first and then we’d book Mickey and Minnie once we’d used our first pass (Alien swirling saucers), the problem was that by pure bad luck Runaway Railway was down at that time and then pretty much all day so we didn’t get chance to utilise it, then when it came to our time for Slinky a storm came and closed it for the foreseeable. All in all with a bit of bad luck and with children too small for Tower of Terror or Rock n Rollercoaster Hollywood Studios can be a bit of a waste with multi pass.

We lucked out a bit the next day, we had Safari, Navi and Everest booked. Used the first pass no problem on safari and then booked Dinosaur, then Navi went down so that changed to a multi pass, then after Everest we booked Kali and that went down so we had another multi pass!

We spent most of the day at animal kingdom but then headed to Epcot via guest services who happily changed our 2 animal kingdom multi attraction passes to Epcot ones. So arriving at Epcot around 7 we had spaceship earth booked and then used our 2 others for Frozen and Remy, both of which had booked up very early in the day otherwise.

Long story short, if you end up with multi attraction passes then park hopping isn’t a bad idea as Epcot doesn’t have the same tier restrictions, just ask at guest services to change it over.

Today was a more normal day at magic kingdom but we had fast passes for Tiana, Pirates and Haunted mansion - the latter went down but we used it our multi attraction replacement for it anyway later in the day. We managed to get additional lightning lanes for Small World, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz, Dumbo, Ariel, Speedway, magic carpets and Barnstormer but the upper tier things such as Jungle Cruise and the Mountains had nothing from very early on in the day.

We also managed to get a Tron Virtual queue even though I forgot at 1 and was about twenty past by the time I remembered!

All in all I think I still prefer the old way (especially Fastpass+ when it was free) but we may use it one more time in magic kingdom

Was a bit worried about doing all this, especially using the spoofer but it was fine as it goes, all very easy.
Good availability for us given we are off site too, easy to go back in and amend once the days were planned too.
