Gonna be a crazy 24 hours
Been a post on our message board of a screenshot of a text conversation with Dale saying he has agreed a fee and it’s with the EFL
A respected board member has confirmed the phone number on the text thread is Dale
Surely Dale isn’t that cruel as to lead us up the garden path again
Just hope ( if true ) it isn’t Smurthwaite who is apparently cut from the same cloth as Day and Dale

Really sad news for Bury and it’s fans. I hope they find a way out of the mess.

From a Walsall Fan I really hope this gets resolved. Football in this country is broken. The lower leagues are inconsequential to the EFL.
We listened to Dale being interviewed on Talk Sport alongside Stephen Dawson, the man obviously has no morals, it was difficult to listen to it as a football fan.

There are no words that can even reply to this - as desperation calls every single snake in the grass comes calling. They slither the way in to graze over a carcase.

Believe nothing.

I know this sounds harsh but until you get the OK to play games to play football again those snakes will come in a variety of guises

Keep the faith and we all hope Bury survive.

Falkirk fan here. Just heard that an offer has been made. Hope all goes well and you get through this even if it means relegation and a couple of seasons of pain.
Perhaps instead of clubbing together to give a ridiculous gift to the outgoing chief executive of the FA the clubs could have done something to help clubs such as yourselves.
I’ve got to admit I’m concerned about my own club as we’ve got a takeover situation ongoing where some of the support want the current owners out at any cost despite the prospective buyer being somewhat shady by the looks of it. This is indeed a cautionary tale where the main losers will be the fans.

It seems a positive move, Dale has confirmed he has sold to football analytics company C&N Sporting Risk, headed by Henry Newman and Rory Campbell (Alistair Campbell’s son).

itv/news/2019-08-23/...sion-from-efl/

if you open the link , and scroll down a bit , it's ME in the third video ! The missus nearly choked on her coffee when she saw me when she was just sat at home watching the news !

Literally I just got to the ground having heard rumours, then the bloke put the camera in my face !

Can someone more techy than me , tell me how I "save" the actual page and separately the video onto my phone - the link above will presumably be overwritten at some point and I want to keep the page and video onto my phone or ipad or laptop

I am not celebrating quite yet - the EFL need to approve, and looking at the "buyers" accounts , then don't seem to have two coins to rub together , but have apparently given proof of funds already

The video gives a sense of the relief. No idea how to save it but nice to put a face to a dibb name !
Fingers crossed for Bury

Certainly added lots of detail to what I was aware of. Disgraceful goings on and it's the fans who suffer
