Finally got round today, to seeing the Whitney Houston film- I wanna dance with somebody. Such an incredible talent, whose life was cut short like so many others

Watched Cocaine Bear the other night. Was gruesome and funny and good and rubbish. Don’t know how else to describe it 😂

We watched The Son with Hugh Jackman the other week, mainly because it was one of the few original version films on at the cinema in Vigo. Was OK, rather have watched something else. It was very predictable towards the end.

Currently sat watching Everything Everywhere All at Once ... what a heap of poop... HOW did that win so many Oscars... a live action, poor man's Rick and Morty is how Dd22 is describing it.
Daft unintelligible rubbish, is my take. DH is still actively watching as he's waiting to see if anything happens or is explained. |

Watched Everything, Everywhere, all at once last night. I loved it, found it really emotional. However, DH tuned out after 20 minutes and I probably would have if it hadn’t won so many Oscar’s and I wanted to see what was so good about it. It’s not easy to get into and although l can see why it won, I wouldn’t have expected it to have won as many as it did. Jamie Lee Curtis best supporting actress for example, I feel should have gone to Angela Bassett or Kerry Condon.
Overall though a very different and interesting film. |
