Finally got round to watching episode one. My friend lives on Vancouver Island and I know how beautiful if it from her photos although I hadn’t appreciated how large it was. My first ever trip abroad was a solo trip to stay with her and her family in Vancouver over 30 years ago now. We went to Stanley Park where they started from, and on the ferry over to Vancouver Island (but just to Victoria which is the capital of British Columbia), so it was great to see familiar places on the programme.

My favourites in this episode were Ladi and Monique.

Loved the first episode, we have spent a lot of time in Vancouver and Whistler and also had a holiday on Vancouver Island, riding those ferries.so lots of happy memories and it’s made me want to go back. Looking forward to the rest.

Very good programme. Loved the scenery, the contestants and the helpful locals.

I would imagine this will do a lot for UK 🇬🇧 to Canada 🇨🇦 tourism.

We finally had an opportunity to watch this today and I'm enjoying it already.

We were fortunate to go on a family holiday to western Canada a few years ago and it's bringing back a lot of memories. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of Canada.

The two brothers - was a bit worried about their plan to head south and work, but seems to have worked out for them! The brother who lives at home and spends his time gaming - I hope this experience will bring him out of his shell a bit.

The two ladies Cathie and Tricia I found a bit annoying at first but they've grown on me and the fact that they have spent very little of their budget is impressive!

I really like Ladi. He seems to be genuinely in it for the experience. Hopefully his daughter will learn to be a bit less competitive and a bit more humble. (A lesson for me there too!)

Adore this show and have really been looking forward to this series.
I have spent a lot of time travelling all over Canada and watching the first episode made me miss BC so much!
Looking forward to watching them navigate the country, although I’m not sure it could beat UK to Singapore series!

Love this show and looking forward to the next episode. We are doing a road trip this year in Canada so was great to see some of the places we will be visiting.

Ah yes, they are the two from Essex I think. I love his attitude, especially when he washed the coach to repay a kindness. His daughter just didn't get it. I hope they do well

Loved the first episode! We went to Vancouver and Vancouver Island in September (see trip report below) and loved every minute. To see them go to Vancouver Island was an unexpected bonus.

When the brothers were picked up to finally go north (after going to Victoria for some strange reason) it appeared they were outside a motel which is actually in Parksville (we were goong to stay there but didn't) and is half way up the coast. Maybe the farm owner drove them half way before her friend took over? It's a very long drive otherwise when you're aiming for an infrequent ferry!

Scenery is absolutely stunning! I'm loving the teams .they are growing on me and they all deserve to win! Bloody hell canada is huge!
