I’d been pondering over the myriad of offsite hotels and The Sheraton looks a good choice. Would you stay again?
It's wonderful! I'm so glad we experienced it.

The Sheraton is a beautiful hotel too. Only downside I can think of, is storage space isn't amazing for a family of 4. We made it work with packing cubes on the shelf though.
Great hotel and location and we would stay again, especially if we got a room with a view of the fireworks again xx

Today is travel day to California, LA We start our travels from the highlands of Scotland to Dover to collect our Son from boarding school. We then stayed a night in the Premier Inn Heathrow (Terminal 4) before flying from Heathrow (Terminal 3) to LAX with American Airlines.

Once in California, we travel to Anaheim to check into our hotel, Sheraton. We then headed to Downtown Disney for some food. This was a terrible decision as we got lost and were far too tired for an adventure. Haha!

12TH DECEMBER TRAVEL DAY

Welcome to day 1 of our 'Baillies Do Disney' California vlog series! Today we head to the happiest place on earth... Disneyland, California The original. The place it all started!

We started off with character breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. Honestly, this place is so good! 10 out of 10 for sure. Better than Chef Mickeys! And that's saying something, because we love Chef Mickeys

We then brought our new magic bands before heading to Disneyland. This was our first time and we were so excited. It was amazing. Absolutely beautiful. The Castle is so beautiful.

We rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and It's a small world. All of these were so amazing and so much better than WDW. We also rode Indiana Jones ride, which was great fun.

We ate Mickeys pretzels, churros, churro toffees, cookies and lots of other Mickey shaped foods. And guess what... Spoiler alert! They were all AMAZING! We also fed the ducks on main street, I wish I was a main street duck!

Paige got Chip an' Dale teddies and we went back to Black Tap for dinner. This was a good burger. But nothing to write home about. We then had a walk back to our hotel and watched the Disneyland fireworks from our balcony.

13TH DECEMBER - Day 1 Disneyland

Great first day & WOW breakfast was amazing
All those cakes, god I’m doomed it was unbelievable & even pizza too 🙈🙈🙈
Xmas decorations looked lovely up Main Street 🎄🎅🏻
I can’t remember much when I went at 14 but DL looks cute glad you loved all the different rides
What a fiasco about your “dinner” too 😡

Thank you for posting this. I’m really enjoying watching and I’m finding it very helpful. We are planning our first trip next year after previous our trip got cancelled because of covid . We had booked The Sheraton before it was remodelled after it got sold. It looks great and good to have a balcony . How did you manage with the storage ? I might need to rethink my wardrobe !
I have just read of course packing cubes , I will be good to go .

Exciting that you are planning on still going! I'm so glad we went, it was such a good trip.

Do you have packing cubes!?
They saved us as we had colour codes ones and could stack them up on the shelf 😊 xxx

Yes we do use packing cubes and I love them. I have purple and his are grey . We pack an emergency cube which we put in each others luggage incase one of them goes missing. Also pop one in our hand luggage too.
Good to know about the shelving.
Thank you. x

They are great aren't they?! 😁
I'm not sure how we would have managed without them to be honest with the storage space but it was fine with them xx

And welled up with Paige again seeing Chip n Dale 💕💕god knows what I’m going to be like with the 4 Grandkids 🙈🙈
From the way Callum was on Guardians 😩🤮 it seemed way worse than ToT, I’m scared on that one anyway 😳😳
Well done Paige, she was so so brave on her first coaster I went on You tube to see the ride, fast & upside down too, I’d miss this one too 🤣🤣
Those nachos at lunch looked liked they could’ve fed at least 4-6 HUGE
Cars land was great & the fireworks too
What a fab day again
