Everything is in piles ready to be packed. I just need to motivate myself to do it. I am at work all day sat, sun and monday, and then we travel to Gatwick on Weds... I will get it done, but I am feeling dispondent that I am not as excited as I have been on every other trip.

It’s been raining here all afternoon, gave up on trying to dry the washing outside so it’s all gone in the dryer 😭

In 10 days I hope to be on the plane but for some reason today I am struck by a strange sense of dread about it all. The last 2 weeks before my holiday and things always drag at work too. I don't want to wish it here too quick but I want to go!

Bought a new Radley suitcase and it arrived today so might start getting clothes out at the weekend.

Single digits for us tomorrow! Packing going well, just a very few last bits to sort and then start the dreaded pre-holiday deep clean. Don’t know why I feel the need to have the house immaculate before going on holiday. Hair and nails coming up shortly in the next few days and then off next Thursday to the airport on pre-travel day. Only 6 and a half more days of work to go!

Why oh why does it feel like the last month or so just DRAGS BY SO SLOWLY?!

Beyond excited! I had a long weekend and went away for a night with the teens sunday/monday, I have really really struggled today back to work. Saturday i finished all of the ironing and put everything in cases with tumble dryer sheets. Final washing this week and i will be packing properly on Sunday.

Just measured the cabin cases as I had a niggling worry... yes as expected out of 4, 2 are too big. I'm debating whether i buy another so we all have one or not... I mean, I could buy one to match my personal bag... decisions decisions.
