It's so hot here. I am literally dripping with sweat all the time. Noone else seems to be suffering like me though. I used to like the heat!

We've just been to Blaze again. We love it. Had the cheesey bread this time too...yum.

Tomorrow we're switching to cabana bay.
Apparently the feels like temps are a little raised still after Debby, that might be making it feel worse than usual.

Currently at Dezerland - underwhelming 🙈🤣
Aw I loved the car museum at Dezerland! Haven't been to Titan̈ic Museum so keeping it in reserve for our rainy day activity!
Glad you're coping OK with the heat.

How busy are people finding the time parks? Are you using lightning lanes?

I think it's quite busy. But for MK and HS, most rides times are nicer estimated. Eg slinky...90 mins, was actually 60 something.

I found Epcots times were more spot on. Eg 40 mins for ratatouille was 45 for us. And 45 for frozen was about right.

The most painful ride to queue up for is still Seven Dwarfs. It annoys me how many lightning lane people go through first. We were stopped at the merge point for over 15 minutes just watching the lightning lane.

On slinky toy story mania we counted 40 people go through from the LL and then 8 from the main queue. So the queues are.really down to how many LL users there are.

We didn't pay for a single LL or multipass.

We did have 7 days in the parks plus 2 days at typhoon. That was plenty to do what we wanted. We failed to get on Tianas though, but did ride Tron twice. GoG once (only because we did a late start for our second epcot day to watch the show)

I went with my DS to HS Saturday night and we missed the 9pm Fantasmic show. Turned up at 8.40 and it was booked. We went to the 1030 show instead.

The queues did not reduce in the evening at all. It was the busiest I've seen it.

We did a early start at MK our first day...that would have been a Friday. We did well that morning. 20 mins on space mountain. 20 on buzz. 10 on pirates.
Our second day at MK was after Debby and that was heaving.

We went to HS the day it rained nearly all day which in hindsight was great. 30 mins ROR, 10 mins smugglers run, 40 mins slinky, 40 TOT, 40 Rock n roller, compared to the second visit where these rides were peaking at 60, 60, 105, 90, 90! Although probably inflated times.

We've arrived at cabana bay...family suite...I love the space. Feel like I can breathe. I love thus hotel so much...everything. The Icees on the refills, the open space, it feels more chilled than disney. I'm sure you guys who are concerned about the reviews will love it too.

This is great to hear we hopefully arrive there Thursday. First time to universal only stayed on-site at Disney and 1x off-site near SeaWorld previously.

It wasn’t too bad at MK today.

We got there at 7:40am for early entry, into the park at 7:45am. Headed straight for 7DMT, 8:30am they walked us round and we were in and off within 15 minutes. Small world next was a wall on. We had a virtual queue for Tron, we were on in 10 minutes. Rode Buzz and People Mover before our 10:20 Crystal Palace booking. After breakfast we did Carpets (walk on), Country Bears (walk on), Big Thunder (25 min as posted), Mansion (15 min 40 posted). We left just before 3pm after a wander in the stores and a visit to the photopass desk as a few of our photos were missing.

It’s very exciting hearing from people actually out there.

I woke up really early this morning with a nervous tummy. I felt really unprepared, had a million lists and reminders popping up on my phone of things I was worried I’d forget.

I’ve finally done my packing! Apart from last bits.

Plans for the week are a day with the kids tomorrow (squeezing in buying a few last minute bits), work Tuesday, the big irrational house clean on Wednesday then off to the Gatwick travelodge in the evening to be ready to fly on Thursday.

We were in MK this morning too. Agree seemed like a good morning for the park. You sound like you had a fab time this morning.

Loving seeing people posting who are there at the moment! 😊 could I ask about the weather please - it's showing on my phone that it's raining a lot, but in reality is it the usual quick summer shower then 5 mins later you wouldn't even know it's rained? Or is it like a full afternoon of rain (great for rides if you can brave it?)

Partly asking in relation to the trip/parks, partly because I'm having a wedding weather panic!😅
