I have worked out how much just the hotel rooms are costing per night when taking into account the cashback, dinning credit and Disney gift card so could compare to offsite options (as would be spending the amount of the dinning credit and gift card if stayed else where anyway) and works out at £127 a night.

sorry I meant to post on here but was busy at time and then completely forgot to. Keep checking as they seem to regularly do bonus cashback currently on travel. The max cashback was caped at £250, for my booking it would have been £280 so in effect got just over 18%.

Expedia via Quidco. I have seen them do similar offer with hotels.com as well before which is same company anyway so hotel prices are normal same on Expedia and hotels.com.

Well I’ve changed my plans.
I had originally booked a package with Tui for animal
Kingdom.
Then I saw that we could stop at the Contemporary for a little bit more but Tui couldn’t accommodate this.
So after lots of looking, dummy bookings etc I booked my flights only with Tui, still
Flying premium and booked the hotel direct with Disney to get the dining credit.
Somehow by doing that and losing the deposit paid to Tui this new holiday is still cheaper than if Tui could accommodate my changes.
So I’m happy!

Urgh think I’ve messed up! Was holding off for most of aug to release so I could book reward flights. Then got side tracked briefly checked fir direct flights on Saturday and they had some and so I thought I’d wait a day or so to book as I was super time poor to call virgin, then forgot. Checked last night and now can’t find a direct flight 😔 Silly me!

Oh no! It is stressful isn’t it? I’ve noticed how the august school holidays is really popular and there is such little availability if you don’t manage to get it on the release day. Not been in summer holidays before so it’s been an eye opener.
