We've booked the Gatwick travelodge, and it was £109 incl breakfast. Way more expensive than we've paid previously. I booked the free cancellation, and keep looking but the price isn't budging. We're flying at midday and the kids love a buffet breakfast which is why I've included breakfast (and the kids eat free so it works out cheaper than eating at the airport).
Maybe I'll have to stash an extra banana or two to make me feel like I've got my money's worth! |

Yes me too Iv got £180 hotels.com voucher to use so was hoping for the Hilton or Sofitel as they have rooms for 5 which previously has worked out cheaper than 2 rooms at one of the cheaper hotels however both are over £350 so I'm hoping it comes down a bit as the voucher is non refundable!

I was doing a bit of checking, and not 100% sure. But it looks like hilton reduce their prices around 3-5 months before the date. At least that's what they seem to have done for random dates like that over the last couple of months when working back. So I'm trying to hold out till March ish. But I'm constantly wondering if I should just bite the bullet and get it booked.
We are the 14th too, and got a similar amount of vouchers to you, so like you just really hoping the prices come down as £350 is way too much. Last time I got it for £250 including breakie. I'll keep an eye out and if I see it come down will let you know. |
