I was shocked that it wasn't given but then again Leeds didn't get one that was very similar against Wolves last season...

The answer to that was the fact I've been to games at OT where the visiting team barely made it into United's half, so it stands to reason penalties would be hard to come by
They will do more attacking but that's not to say Celtic have never been in their box

By the way, did you think it was a pen for Wolves?

Absolutely - keeper came out flapping and got nowhere near the ball.

For VAR to not get the ref to have a look at it again was a joke, they can only have thought it wasn't a clear and obvious error

Off the top of my head I can remember Liverp**l being awarded far too many penalties at old Trafford.

So many man utd fans saying that for the reason not. to give a pen.
It was never gonna be given in the 90 something minute to potentially take 2 points off man utd.

And based on our scoring ability we'd have probably missed anyway. Tbh we should have been 3 or 4 up if we could actually score a goal.

For a moment we thought he was going to the screen but nope, just off to book oniel while ten hag out of his area pretty much on the pitch. I didn't hear the announcement.

On the plus side, I thought you played really well some very good players on show, I particularly liked Cunha & the lad in midfield, is it Matheus?

Not meaning to drag this out in a negative way, just thought it was a funny story at the right time.

I've just watched Neil Warnock's press conference for Huddersfield's game at Middlesbrough tomorrow & he was asked what he thought about the reffing decisions so far. He said the Wolves one was a joke but some things never change, he said one of his players was clean through at OT & got scythed down in the area but no pen or red card given.

He was having a drink with Sir Alex afterwards & he said "what about that penalty, Alex?", Ferguson smiled & said "They don't get given here, son".

Another week and another apology by PGMOL. It’s time to ditch VAR. Offside was the decision VAR should be perfect but increasingly they’re getting that wrong.

Yesterday in the Liverpool game, so clear he was onside yet VAR and assistant both failed.

How can we trust any decision?
