The reason for the uproar is this is possibly the first time this has happened with var. the other apologies have been wrong decisions that could still be subjective. This is the first time var knew that the goal was good but through sheer incompetence it was ruled out. The referee and var should be punished, the referee because he should have said to var check for offside original decision off side and var for not checking the original decision. Being stood down for a few matches is not enough punishment for these incompetent people, var is the easiest job in the world being made into the most difficult.

It's always the world against Liverpool

Same. Var failed at anfield for us in the cup. I didn't hear them complain much then.

Mind also been at the centre of dodgy var decisions and apologies this season too.

Just get it gone.

I have been to see Liverpool play all over the country up until halfway through last season. I also watch the other 'big games' on sky. To purchase BT sport and Sky sports would surely be a waste of money just to watch my team?

Thanks for the not so subtle sly dig. My faith in this forum never wavers

For the same reason you won't hear Spurs complain over saturdays decision, all this media hype does is bring out the anti Liverpool brigade to the old tune of "never to blame"
The decision was atrocious, blatant offside, may as well scrap the whole system.
It was Spurs lucky day Saturday and good for them, they too have had their challenges with VAR, most teams have, Saturdays decision was one of the worst to boot, ( excuse the pun) hence the amount of hype over it .

Has no one learnt anything about Liverpool fans and scousers as people? who were the main drive behind the £30 away ticket t price cap... yep them pesky Liverpool fans.

This weekend isn't about Liverpool v spurs or anyone else for that matter, the game is being ruined by potential corruption, before this season started we had 4 sendings off in 168 premier league games, Klopp goes and tells the PGMOL exactly what he thinks and boom we have 4 in 7 games, 1 already over turned, a yellow turned into a red with a pic of the contact on the screen ready for the ref which throws the whole Curtis jones tackle out of context, he's pulled back, gets his foot on the ball and then slides off it... Jota 1st yellow the spurs player clips his own Knee, he then shouldn't have made the 2nd challenge however that's bye the bye. Robbo yellow... Salah yellow...

Yes its a fast paced and may well be just that the reffing is ≈≈≈≈ but Howard Webb has allowed 2 of the officials to go the UAE last week at the request of the owners of Man City and be paid handsomely for reffing 1 game...

its time football stood up for its self just looks like Liverpool fans are going to have to start the ball rolling again!

Not sure how you can question the red cards... yes the offside clearly a mistake.

The 2 reds where the correct decision.

Jones was a red all day long regardless of the still in which the ref saw first. This was a leg breaker with a straight leg... just because the likes of Van Dijk etc has gotten away with it in the past does not make it a yellow card only.

Again, regardless whether he goes over the ball we have seen in recent years the follow through is taken into account as much as the challenge and any contact made with the ball. This was a cowards challenge by Jones...

Jota first yellow was soft I agree but you see them given as a yellow week in week out. Accidental but Jota's knee clips the spurs player foot and causes him to trip.

You do not see Jota complain about this yellow because he knows he has clipped him and ultimately stopped a break. 2nd yellow is stupid considering he is already on a yellow!

That part I couldn't quite believe? I have never seen that before ever? I think this is an agenda for Klopp having a go at Paul Tierney. Seems like a lot has happened this season that has gone against us. As a Liverpool fan Klopp can come across wrong in his complaints. Some of the time it's just a coin toss on a decision and you win some and lose some. This Spurs game though is a whole different level. Definitely not a Red for Curtis. I am in shock still at the VAR offside. I cannot understand how all of them missed it?

Obviously we will say corruption etc. Every fan of their club would. This is by far and away the most blatant 'mistake' anyone has suffered.

The Curtis red is clearly a debatable issue. Seems split everywhere you look. That famous instagrammer who is a Man U fan even said we were robbed over that Red. That's a coin toss issue for me. I don't see it as a red. Gary Neville never did either. Most professionals say it wasn't. I tend to bow to their expertise, but debatable. I have watched the Jota 1st booking and I cannot see him clip him deliberately or accidentally. Regardless to describe the offside as a mistake is slightly underplaying it.

Are you a Newcastle fan?

did YOUR club not kick up a stink about it? did you not have the conviction to make the game better for everyone? or did you just sit back and think the scousers will kick off soon enough?

how's them £30 away tickets? yes Liverpool fans were at the heart of that!
