Tree emergency, ideas appreciated.

I bought a Balsam Hills tree back in October, checked the lights worked and looked forward to putting it up. It will be Disney decs only.
I bought a 6’ which is what I thought my previous tree is.

Got it out of the box last night ready to watch the ‘fluffing’ video and I thought there was a missing section!
It technically measures 6’ - just.

So my question is can anyone suggest anything I can stand it on safely to raise the height.

I made a block of polystyrene but it just sank in.
I don’t have random blocks of wood lying around- does anywhere sell them?
Any other suggestions?

Could you get a wicker basket that it could sit in and pop a couple of bricks in the bottom to secure it? So it looks like this. This should give you some extra height but also ensure it doesn’t fall over.

How much taller are you needing it to be?

A wooden crate turned upside down could look nice depending on your decor.

That or a spindle style tree topper to make it look bigger?

Would probably take another foot , half would be acceptable.
Just worried about the stability.
Will explore the tree topper idea.
Thanks.

Get a cat it will climb & sit atop your tree making tree look tall or topple it to the ground so the height isn't an issue.

I have a cat and a large dog - they know better.

I use my bedside cabinet every year 🙈 I empty it out, have a messy pile in the corner of the room but a nice taller tree in the living room lol. I just turn the bedside table onto it's side and wrap in wrapping paper.
I keep telling myself I'll buy one of those cheap tables from IKEA and cut the legs a bit shorter but that idea is about 10 years old fnow from when the tables were £5 and still no table They're now £12 Iast time I checked 😂

I’ve ordered some bed risers, fingers crossed they work but if not they will come in handy when I’m truly old and decrepit 😂😂
