My daughter gives her friends any bath bombs that we receive because non of us can use bath bombs without coming out in a rash 😬😬😬

I’ll agree on any toiletries unless I actually use the products.
Might sound ungrateful but they’ll just go to waste. Those kinds of things were great as a teen but not now.
I find MOST wax melts and candles give me a headache so again, I’d not particularly want to be gifted any.
And definitely not the Ian Beale calendar!

Gosh I just can’t decide which of these calendars to get?! 😂😂

Toiletries for me too. I used to love soap and glory (and still do) but I have had so many sets over the years and some bits I never get round to using!

I actually usually ask people not to get me stuff as I just don’t need anything but most people don’t feel comfortable not buying if I’m buying for them but I genuinely don’t mind.

I’m always grateful that people have chosen a gift for me, but I do have more hats, scarves and gloves than I can cope with. DH invariably buys me something that HE’D actually like. Bless him, he’s a trier

Chocolates, I don't mind a few but end up with too many and eat them for the sake of it. I'd rather wine instead

My husband’s family can go very OTT at Christmas and we always tell them to save their money. We used to get two of the largest Christmas bags each every year…

One year we had so much chocolate it filled a six seater dining table. We tried to hint at them to scale back and the year after we filled the dining table with toiletries 😂!

They have now after nine years started to scale back to two medium sized Christmas bags each. We just want them to enjoy their money for themselves!
