Please folks donate unwanted gifts after Christmas to food banks , women’s shelters , homeless units
Kids usually get some sort of gift but parents, homeless men don’t even tins of bscuits sweets to a local drop in centre etc
I know our church run food bank soup kitchen etc find January a hard month to feed people

A great post! Our local drop in/foodbank is actively advertising for this. Especially things like those manicure sets that everyone puts to the back of a cupboard. Simple things like nail clippers, tweezers, files can make a huge difference when you've got nothing at all.

Nero, Costa, starbucks for me too. Nero is nicer quality coffee compared to Costa and I find starbucks very bitter. I used to have it all the time years ago but not now.

For any fans of nero, make sure you get the meerkat app and get 25% off your coffees and pastries, makes a coffee around 2.70 like it used to be before the ridiculous increases.

This happened to me. I went through a phase of drinking gin when we went out which triggered an influx of gin gifts, which was exasperated by it being my 40th too. I ended up with about 30 bottles, and I don't drink at home! My daughters dance school had a very good Raffle this year at their show 🤣
