A couple of soft toys, one is a squirrel and the other a big Santa boot with three bone shaped toys to pull out of it, one says woof, and the other two naughty and nice 😁 And a big box of Wagg dog biscuits, flavour is cinnamon and coriander which sounds an odd mix so I'm not sure they'll be a hit.

Think it will be something like an antler for Rory, though I have bought one of those puzzle toys where you put treats under a sliding cover. He rips toys to pieces in no time flat though he has 3 indestructible balls which he plays with & they are his pride & joy. He knows his colours when you ask him to bring a particular coloured ball, definitely our cleverest dog though spoiled rotten.

Amber and Ellie are getting good boy pigs in blankets and a big bag of turkey flavoured treats. We’ve had 4+ months of them having very loose stools, they’re now fine but I’m very wary of what we feed them now.
Amber doesn’t play with toys and Evie will occasionally play but has 2 little ducks that she’ll throw about but doesn’t bother with any others. They play with each other rather than toys. It’s also no good getting them snuffle mats as Amber will exert senior dog priorities and will take possession with a single low warning growl.
They’ll get some beef and pork (fat removed) for Christmas dinner.
They have had a milky bar advent calendar each though so not totally deprived!

I’ve felt so guilty reading this thread I’ve bought them a hide and seek toy each……..they will probably end up in the toy box with the rest but you never know!

Lottie loves the hide and seek toys so she’s getting these for Christmas.

Thank you everyone, some lovely ideas and lots of wonderful heart warming stories (and a lovely giggle). Wanted to get Molly another perfect fit harness, cause next to treats, water - especially dirty puddles are her favorite things, so hers is constantly dirty. Today got a email to say they have 20% off

Baby Mabel will be 3 on Christmas Eve so between that and Christmas she is getting a new snuggle sack from Hounds of Eden, a new bed from Sizzle and Boo, new harnesses from Pawsome Paws, a giant bear from Ikea and a dachsie jumper from Equafleece. She’ll get treats and stocking fillers too.

FloridaTilly that story is hilarious! 🤣
Poppy a few years ago took one of her presents from under the tree and I caught her unwrapping it in the front room. But I took it away and told her Santa won’t bring her anything else if she opens things early.

Both my dog (now 2.5) and cat (10) are absolutely fine with the tree/baubles and presents now. They will have a little curious sniff (usually the dog follows the cat) but that's it. Left them both alone all this week whilst at work and no damage at all.

Our labradoodle Dusty is two now so I trust her a bit more , but the first year I put the puppy pen around our tree with the wrapped presents inside 😄
We never used the puppy pen for it's intended purpose to put her in but it's been really useful as a barrier on occasions.
