How’s the shopping going?

Regarding Christmas food and Christmas gifts!? Are you all done or not even started 😱🤣

We haven’t done any Christmas food shopping yet, we will be braving it at the weekend 😃
Is there anything in particular you only buy at Christmas?
My middle son loves mince pies 🤩🤩🤩

I have got all my presents apart from a phone, I am leaving that as long as possible so we have the full benefit of its 12 months warranty 👍🏻
I do need to wrap lot’s though, Mason has been off for 3 weeks so I will be a busy Santas Elf next week 🤪

Hi FT, pretty much all done here, but mainly because I’ve had my hip replacement operation so needed to get organised beforehand!

Regarding wrapping I’ve bought pretty Xmasy bags in various sizes, much easier than wrapping paper and we have a Tesco delivery for next Friday, all the food will be on that xx

Not started yet!

Xmas food shop will be done next Friday at 7am in my local M&S (I do this every year).

Gifts I started buying online yesterday. So far 3 of my adult kids have pjs and 2 have pj bottoms and that’s it! I’ve normally finished by now with everything wrapped but we’ve had an awful couple of months so it’s just not happened this year.

Christmas presents are all done although I’ve lost the in-laws gift so praying we find it. It’s an experience so does anyone know if they’ll cancel and replace if we can’t find it?!

Food-wise we’re cheating and having Xmas dinner at a restaurant this year just the 3 of us. So just need snacks and nibbles which we’ll get as we go.

I've bought all my presents -not gone overboard this year. All my nieces and nephew presents are away as of today, just the food shop to be braved. I just had my gallbladder out last Friday so not been fit to anything, hoping to do everything else next week when I'm feeling better.

My husband always feels the need for a panetone at Christmas 🤷 and I always buy after eights.

Mostly done all the buying and wrapping but still have half of my daughters to wrap and all of my sons. I have to buy my son some trainers on Saturday and get some make up for my mil to give my daughter and that’s it. Having guests on Sunday I’m making prawn curry and have bought lots of bits to go with the meal. Next week we’ll get everything for Christmas lunch and the Boxing Day family buffet. I have snowman Bao buns, beef pastries things, posh prawns and chicken shawarma parcels in my freezer from M&S. But 3 get one free and they cost a lot so they’d better be good. We also have lots of Christmas chocolates. 😋

Nearly done, eldest DS lives away - 2 parcels sent and one to go, another 2 parcels also to send to others.

Other DS just needs wrapping, and a few others too. Family secret santas got and wrapped.

Loads of snacks to munch through and going to Sisters for Christmas lunch, so I’ve only had to get a gammon ham.
