Honestly, you’re not the only one. I so cannot be bothered either and have no excuse, other than I just cannot seem to get into it at all I’m just hoping something magically happens to my mindset between now and next week Food at least will be collected and delivered on Saturday.

The gifts I bought for my DD that she asked for, she's been given them already when I unpacked my suitcase (so no wrapping needed)
Already wrapped my DS & DIL and gave them to them yesterday.

Me & DH aren't buying each other gifts this year, food wise it'l just resemble a normal Sunday roast, albeit with a Turkey crown, not going to bother buying a load of snacks/treats.

So I've officially said Christmas is cancelled this year in our home, no presents to open and just a normal roast dinner and back to work on Boxing Day.

I really cannot be assed this year.. plus I've just had to pay the balance for my upcoming holiday... thats my excuse for being The Grinch this year

Going to a spa hotel for two nights on Wednesday so I thought I'd better get my act together.
Bought big chicken to freeze with pigs in blankets with sausage meat for stuffing.
Bought some veg which I think will last till Monday.
Also got the ingredients for a rum and raisin bread and butter pudding, which will be our dessert.
Will call in at an M&S on Friday for a few bits and that's us done.

My daughter and I have just had our hair done and the hairdresser was singing the praises of her new GHD Helios hairdryer. My word it was fabulous, neither of us needed the straighteners and we both have very curly hair.
I am so tempted to get one for my daughter for Christmas 🤭 but she has already got too much 🙈 I want one but I would feel terribly mean if I bought myself one and not her, I would rather she get one than me.
Buy, don’t buy, buy, don’t buy 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

FT, I used to be in the ‘ a hairdryer is a hairdryer’ camp, until I got my Dyson, a good hairdryer can definitely make a huge difference to your hair x

Nothing wrapped and only bought the turkey and gammon as noticed one store had sold out of the joint I wanted so better get my act together and start shopping yesterday as I am doing the hosting.

Had the 3 year old grandchildren over today and got them to help cut out the decorations for the Christmas cakes I still have to ice. Was really surprised out how well they did and will be able to use all the decorations they made.

Apparently the Shark is very good. Dil is getting one so hopefully I'll have a play but nothing will make me get rid of my perfectly good Parlux I have fine straight hair tho so it doesn't take much drying.
