Boxing Day menu!

We are having a buffet for 11 or 12 prepared by me, my daughter is doing a charcuterie board. Lots of marks and sainsburys ready prepared bits. Cold Turkey, Ham in coke, rolls and crisps and dips. Lots of yummy desserts too, what are you doing for food today? 😋

We chose not to have a starter yesterday so have just a lovely prawn cocktail made by DD for lunch - it was really refreshing! Then some M&S roulade which didn’t get eaten yesterday either so we are doing well for having no waste this year!

For tea we are having turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches with a few chips and coleslaw on the side.

Enjoy your family buffet Sandra!

I've done a beef joint in my airfryer. Dehydrated it for six hours and then air crisped for 10 minutes.

I've had a turkey, beef, stuffing, bread sauce & cranberry sauce sandwich, followed by a slice of Christmas cake then some pate and crackers and some swiss chocolate 😂
Going to do some party food bits for later, sausages stuffed with brie &cranberry and wrapped in bacon, chicken satay skewers, some prawn toast things, onion bhajis and lamb bhajis and some cheese/ham and crackers.

We all met at 9 am ( 15 and a dog ) at the local beach for a morning walk, then back to ours for breakfast. We had Square Slice sausage, links, giant pigs in blankets made from posh dogs and streaky bacon, baked eggs, potato scones and croissants. All with rolls and plenty of tea and coffee.
Was our first time having everyone over for Boxing Day as we have moved back closer to our families. Was brilliant and scoffed by all!

We just had prawn buns for lunch (leftover from prawn/salmon starters yesterday), tonight it was a 'leftovers dinner'.
We have a family buffet and presents for 14 of us tomorrow, I'm putting buns out and they can make their own ham / cheese savoury / egg buns; sausage rolls, vol au vents, pizza, charcuterie and cheeses, crusty bread, pickles etc, nibbles, M&S Colin Christmas caterpillar, & Rudolph cupcakes and various mince pies, xmas cookies etc. I might do a 'build your own Ice cream sundae' table too.
