Yes but I am an away for the same team and I saw differences between a Liverpool game and an Everton game in the same season. Liverpool was midweek and the oub much quieter than I've ever seen it on a Saturday v Everton.

Usually Liverpool they don't let away fans in or charge you to get in a dump. Hence we end up in the city centre.

Then there is the whole regeneration of that part of the City (just north of the city centre) ie Liverpool Waters which has now begun with the new stadium. The stretch from the Stadium to the city center will be further developed in the coming years.

So again, not grim. Some people just will like to paint it that way!
I agree, its no worse but you're comparing it with grounds that have been there for donkeys years. I hope the regeneration comes off and the area improves for everyone. I've no hidden agenda, just stating facts.

Surely it's the pubs not letting away fans in, not LFC.

Being on the dock can't be any worse than the Southampton ground being right next to the sea (other than the south coast aspect) but there in winter is pretty cold.

Spurs ground is worth a visit.
Sunderlands Roker Park was right next to the sea, the SOL is still close & probably the coldest ground I have been to.. see also Hartlepool right next to the North Sea

Never went to the old ground and I last went to SOL at the end of season and it was baking. We had won the league and out lot were already on the beach 😂 lost to them as they got relegated and missed the 100 point mark 🙄

Well obviously. But my point is you are treated differently depending on who the home team is.

Because they’re spending money on wages that the can’t afford. If they didn’t offer players those wages they may not have signed for them. They have been involved in winning points from other clubs some of whom have been relegated, which punishes their fans
