I’ve used Airalo before and I see I can top up my existing e-sim with the discounted rates. I’m not travelling for a few months and if u top up now I think it wouldn’t activate (and the clock start ticking) until I land in the U.S. - can anyone confirm!?

We aren’t going until May but did a webchat and asked if we purchased now would they still be ok for May.
They responded that the 30 days or whatever time only starts when connected.

Hopefully this would still be case with top up. I would use the webchat to ask/double check.

This might sound like a silly question, but can you use an eSim with any phone, or does it need to have a certain function to allow it? Husband and I have both got Huawei P30's.

Go to the settings then mobile or cellular data ( however it’s named ) and you’ll see add esim if it’s capable

Can I buy e-sims for me and DW on one account so I manage them all? And stockpile them for multiple trips i.e. one each for May and another one each for October. There won't be a problem with them going into two different phones?
