The major theme of the prequel and original films is anakin was created by the force and darth plagus and he was unique and would bring balance to the force. Those films are about anakin not Luke. Now it seems that he was not unique as a hundred years before this had happened before with space witches. This had been forgotten about by the Jedi.

Yes I did see the episode and I don't think it was established how the twins were creating they just said if the jedi found out how then they wouldn't be happy! We will have to see how it is explained in a further episode.
It's fine if you or others don't like a show you can just not watch I just don't get the rotten tomatoes thing I myself have never placed a score on there and don't know anyone that has. The truth is this show was being slaughtered even before anyone had seen it! |

That is true, there has been a lot of review bombing, there has been also review boosting. There are a lot of 1 star so to say by people who have never reviewed anything this is normal a sign of review bombing. At the same time there is a lot of 5 star reviews from people who have never review anything either this review boosting. The biggest problem I see is, if someone says they don’t like it they are being labelled as a toxic Star Wars fan. A poorly written and badly acted show is just that, poorly written and badly acted. I personally loved Ashoka, kenobi, and boba fett, this on the other hand is poor to average leaning to poor.

Watched 3 last night. It was just fine as back story. But I really can't be doing with using the terms Coven and Witches in the Start Wars universe. And all that chanting and stuff .
I do like the idea of a different faction of 'force users' though, who call it something different ('Threads' was it?) and not signing up to Jedi ideals. Gives a different perspective on the Jedi. |

I do think they have and are trying new things and I know it's not always gonna hit with everyone . To be fair they have got very high standards to live upto with George Lucas.
I think they need to go back to making movies now and leave the TV shows for a while. They need to make it a big event again ,the TV shows seam a bit small time compared to the movies IMO |

For the love of god, don’t make more movies while the current administration is still there. They have only made one good movie in the current cycle and that was years ago, rouge one is a truly excellent movie the last three is what I clean up after my dog. The only department that have done anything up to standard is the animation with the bad batch and the tails series. They need to dump anything to do with ray and do an expand the clone wars the untold stories that would be a success.

I’m not completely down on the new stuff but I do look over wistfully at what they did with the Marvel Universe (all the way to Endgame). With that series of films they managed to keep pretty much everyone happy from the comic book readers to the new comers.
I really think if Disney had stuck to the Star Wars expanded universe ‘cannon’ which had been developed over decades then they may have been able to do something very special. But we’ll never know now. Edited at 10:31 AM. |
