We fly on the 22nd August so just over 4 weeks time.

Yes the booking had all been confirmed so I really don't understand why its been cancelled.

Did they give a reason for cancelling? I would be pressing them further, especially given you had confirmation.

No they just said that it had been cancelled by the supplied. They have emailed Hertz and are awaiting a response from them.

I'm just about to cancel my booking. I had an intermediate SUV 24/8/24 15 days £360. Last night I found a BMW X5 (or similar) with Sixt through Auto Europe £479 which I thought was a no brainer.
Think we would have struggled with the intermediate as we're 4 adults each with a large suitcase and hand luggage. I imagine we will have no issues with the X5

Just watch Sixt as they don't include a partner/spouse as a free driver in you need this.
