Finished week 2 of cycle 1 today next week is a rest week then start cycle 3 on July 3rd

Last night was bad with muscle spasms so slept in my chair. Think was due to Monday on sat in the wheel chair for 4.5 hours
Took my walker today and had my pregabalin upped from 2 to 3 times a day and morphine from 15 to 20 slow release twice a day

I have been suffering with awful muscle spasms too, I was in A&E Sunday as they started in my chest but they told me it was muscular and then last night was in agony with the same pain going down into my side. My chemo was 72 hours infusion and due to the tubes being short I could only sleep on my right for the 3 days so can only assume that and then generally not much moving around since discharge has caused it but omg I haven’t had pain like it!
Cycle 2 on July 8th for me, hope your next cycle goes smoothly x

Oh that’s awful. So sorry to hear you have had such a bad time of it, I think of you a lot and have been worrying as we haven’t heard from you for a while.

I’m pretty ashamed of myself, been complaining about the new Disney system all day and you have all of this to put up with.

I really hope the next cycle isn’t as bad and the pain is better controlled. I hope you can manage to keep posting as I’m sure there are many on here who have you in their thoughts .

Sorry to hear you’re having such a rough time - I’ve been thinking of you and your family ever since you posted on here.
I know it doesn’t really help, but I want you to know that I (and I’m sure all us dibbers) are here for you and crossing our fingers that things improve for you - Mike too of course!

I spoke to the specialist about my muscle spasms and was told to keep hydrated and have fluids and foods with electrolytes in them.
Hope the spasm stop for you and can be pain free. Besides hurting it can make you totally miserable.

Are muscle spasms dangerous for you with your bones being more brittle or crumbly? Or has your treatment stopped that? Sorry if I've got it wrong.

We have a heatwave here at the moment, my granddaughters specialist recommend taking dioralite while she was having chemo and when she went anywhere hot even if she didn't have stomach problems.

Hope that may be of some help. X

Are you getting leg spasms? They seem common where as mine are in my chest/side.
I will definitely try the electrolytes though, thanks for that advice 👍
